The Concept

Offering employees access to seminar/workshop-based financial advice at retirement has become increasingly common and is regarded by many employers as good practice. IAS believes that employers can play an important role in safeguarding the financial interests of their employees. However, deciding on how to select an external firm to provide the financial input is not always easy.

IAS can provide the financial input for in-house seminars either independently or in association with in-house HR and pensions personnel. In addition, through our associates and relationships with major out-placement organisations, where required, IAS can also deliver a pre-retirement seminar that covers associated "life-style" issues as well as the important financial input.

However, in our experience, it is the financial side of the equation (rather than the "softer" health/recreational issues) that tend to concentrate the mind at this time.

Our retirement workshops are conducted in a friendly and informal manner. IAS combines detailed information sessions with question and answer slots, ensuring helpful interaction between participants.
